Luo, Wu received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 1991, 1998, and 2006, all in electronics engineering, respectively.

He is currently a Professor with the School of Electronics, Peking University. His research interests include wireless and satellite communication networks, channel estimation, interference cancelation and suppression, multiple-input multiple-output networks, and channel coding techniques.

Prof. Luo has published more than 50 research papers, holds more than 12 Chinese invention patents, and has more than 10 research projects including NSFC, 863 project, etc. He won the Outstanding Award for Progress in Science and Technology of CETC in 2005, and received the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award of China (first class) in 2006, respectively.
