Lixin Zhu is a Senior Engineer at the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Optical Communications and Networks, School of Electronics, Peking University, China. In 1997, as the on-site Chief Engineer,  China's first 4x2.5Gb/s DWDM optical communication system was accomplished, from SHENZHEN to GUANGZHOU site field communication experiment. His research interests include ROF, high-speed optical fiber transmission systems, optical transport networks, PON and optical processing.
